Hypatia started in 2025 as a simple answer: where can people in Alexandria go to think, make, and feel — together? We took an old apartment above El-Borsa El-Watania Cafe, kept the antique chairs and wooden floors, and opened the doors.
Named after the ancient philosopher of Alexandria. A spot for musicians, writers, painters, students, tired coworkers, and anyone chasing a slower kind of night.
